And this statement is based on doing edits in both manners in the real world - not on me basing an opinion on misunderstanding what I've read. My DAW app can easily do cross fades between regions for seamless no click splices - and it easily do butt splices at zero crossing points with no cross fades between the regions for seamless no click splices. Maybe that´s why real pro DAWs don´t offer it?utter bull crap. Or you can read white papers how to do editing in the the digital domain the right way.Īlso looking at signal theory confirms: looking for zero crossings is nonsense. You can also take a look in Jon Watkinsons "The Art of Digital Audio" known as the bible for digital audio. There are a lot of real pro DAWs not offering the search of zero crossing because technically and methematically it is just nonsense to do edits with zero crossings. Even if you do the the most stupid edtis like putting 2 regions together which having nothing common you will not hear any klicks. What a bunch of mugs, if it don't work Magix, get it off your site and stop wasting peoples time.I do a lot of edits in Sonic Studio Soundblade. I wouldn't have even wasted my time looking at the demo, playing with it for an hour or two, or writing these forum posts and emails if they didn't advertise it for sale on their website for $299, which they still are doing: Please be safe and healthy out there, and have a great day!""

I apologize for the inconvenience of that, and we thank you for your time and understanding. Most Mac users now are using the PC version on their Mac via the Parallels app (this is what I do at my home computer, and it works great), but unfortunately, the Mac versions themselves are becoming unusable and it will be quite some time if/when a newer version is developed. Due to changes in the various Mac operating systems, they have become highly unstable, and at this time the entire Mac line is being put on hold as decisions are being made regarding the Mac version's future. Unfortunately, there are many issues with the Mac versions of Sound Forge. Incase others have this issue, here's Magix response to my query above: Unfortunately they were unable to help as by their own admission, their software, Sound Forge, doesn't work on Mac, that's any Mac.!! Thanks Jeff, so I contacted Magix directly.
